Elm Jewellery Box

155mm x 337mm x 265mm

Lid uses the tree's natural edge with an included burr that acts as a handle. Solid mitered edged lid, inlaid with burr elm veneer and tulipwood banding. Rest of carcass made from elm (some of which has been recycled from a piece of Ercol furniture). Includes drawer with twelve compartments. Inside there is a lift-out tray with nine compartments and three ring rolls, plus four further small lift-out trays. Below the lift-out tray are a further twelve compartments.

There is a brass handle on each side of the box (not shown - added after photos taken)

The trays are made from Beech.
